LittleBits has been around since 2011 bringing electronic tinkering to children in the form of a simple magnetic solderless connections. They’ve done collaborations with music company Korg which let kids create simple synth kits, and this year they’ve adapted their kits to the screen age. The 2nd edition of their Gadgets & Gizmos kit now features a wireless Bluetooth Low Energy module which allows their creation to be contolled by a Bluetooth device like the iPad or iPhone. The kit is available now for $200.
