Architecture for Dogs

About

Founded by Kenya Hara and Nippon Design Center in conjunction with Imprint Venture Lab, Architecture for Dogs is a new collection of sincere architectural structures developed in collaboration with world-class architects and designers, with the shared mission of bringing a new kind of joy to the relationship between dogs and humans. The project features breed-specific architectural structures designed by Shigeru Ban, MVRDV, Toyo Ito, Konstantin Grcic, Kazuyo Sejima, Kengo Kuma, and Kenya Hara, Ma Yansong, Kazuyo Sejima, Sou Fujimoto, Resier + Umemoto, Atelier Bow-Wow, Torafu Architects, Hiroshi Naito, FGMF, and Asif Khan. The exhibition has traveled to London Japan House, Sao Paulo Japan House, Toto Gallery, Zhi Art Museum, 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa, Long Beach Art Museum, Design Miami, and Shanghai Himalayas Museum.
