Porsche has come up with a pretty innovative way to promote their new 2014 Cayman S. Why not give it away for free, well the 3D file of it at least. So if you or your friend own a 3D printer you can have a mini Cayman S of your own by heading over here and then printing one out.
A search for the hashtag #3DCayman shows people actually producing these printed vehicles and one Martin Heed has even printed the car in multiple sizes. Cayman S Micro Machine anyone?

This idea for this car is like the toy at the bottom of the cereal box! It gets me itching to get a 3D printer even more. I look forward to seeing what other companies following suit will come up with.
