Dec 19, 2013 Gel Refrigerator the Future of Food?
We’ve seen some pretty wacky inventions in 2013, but I must say that this gel refrigerator has got to be up there with all of the other Jetsons type products.
Electrolux has recently been experimenting with a refrigerator containing a dense gel type substance that is supposedly much more energy efficient than any other alternative. There is no video attached, but you can get a good sense of how one would interact with this refrigerator. The gel is not only dense enough to hold any item placed inside, but it also eliminates any odors emitted as well.
This is great and all, but all I really want to know is: What happens if I jump into the gel…?
