I remember when “flash” sales were the hottest thing, the “new” way to shop. You’d join the site and get access to sales which ended in an allotted time and get great deals. Now flash sales are just a part of the daily shopping grind. So what’s next?
Welcome the subscription boxes. They really aren’t that new, you can see just by logging on to any number of subscription box fan sites like, my subscription addiction, find subscription boxes, must have boxes and many more, just google subscription boxes. The numbers of types of subscription boxes are vast as well, anywhere from cosmetics, tchotchkes and even dog food the themes go on and on. They can also cost up too the hundreds of dollars a month. They’re popping up everywhere and it’s the hottest thing… especially with the holidays coming up.
But lets take a second… why would we love these? You pay for things you usually wouldn’t go out and buy. I think it’s just basically the feeling of getting something in the mail. It’s like that care package you got from your parents in college. We like getting stuff!
