Switching Venues

Switching Venues

Here at Imprint Culture Lab, we’ve dabbled in our share of event production. It’s a tough game – requiring the perfect storm of ingredients, centered around the right venue. Finding the right venue can make or break an entire event, and so with that in mind, Japanese architect Arata Isozaki and British sculptor Anish Kapoor have teamed up to create the Arc Nova, the world’s first inflatable concert hall, to serve the earthquake and tsunami-ravaged area of Tohoku, Japan. Pretty amazing stuff – to think up a venue which can travel wherever it needs to go. It takes 2hrs to inflate, and holds about 500. Handy! Via Spoon & Tamago.
