I’m a strong believer that anyone in this world can be as successful as the person next to them. Doesn’t matter who you, where you’re from, or how old you are – it’s all possible. The biggest hurdle that most people are faced with however is finding that proper medium for a subject matter or skill-set to resonate with that certain individual, as we all learn in different ways. But once you can uncover what that person truly wants and deliver it to them in a form they understand, odds are that most people will just absolutely kill it.
This is exactly what the Science Genius B.A.T.T.L.E.S. (Bring Attention to Transforming Teaching, Learning and Engagement in Science) achieves. Students from all over New York public high schools were challenged to come up with a rap about science. The top student from each school represented their classmates at an official rap battle and the video below is the result.
