Tristan Eaton’s Solo Exhibition “Legacy” at Subliminal Projects Gallery

One of the contributing artists from Pow! Wow! Long Beach, Tristan Eaton has a solo exhibition titled “Legacy” that is currently up at Subliminal Projects Gallery in Los Angeles. Detroit’s Library Street Collective presented Eaton’s artwork and explained that it pays homage to those who came before him and is for current and next generations. Inspired by audio interviews, his new works are based on people who have played an important role in his life. Each piece has a unique story to tell, and every detail in the artworks is a metaphor or symbol to the essence of the backstory. I wanted to share some photos I took during my visit, but my photos do no justice. You must check it out for yourselves! The show ends Saturday so be sure to go soon. “Legacy” will be on view at Subliminal Projects (1331 Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA) from 12-6pm. For more information, visit LSCGallery.com or e-mail info@lscgallery.com for an exhibition catalog.
