Warhol TCs

Did you know Andy Warhol created time capsules? In fact he kept time capsules for around thirty years of his life, starting from the early 60s to his death in 1987. The amount of content is sorted into 612 containers around the size of a standard cardboard box. The Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh has them and they’ve been cataloging each box and it’s contents. Below is a video fo them opening time capsule 339. You can watch and see some of the interesting things they find as well as see the painstaking task of cataloging all the items. You can follow the team cataloging these boxes on their blog time capsules.
