When a graphic designer takes on OCR (Optical character recognition) we get ZXX a font built to disrupt unwanted people from reading your words and thoughts online. Sang Mun a graphic designer who was a former contractor with the US National Security Agency (NSA) took on the task to help society reclaim a bit of freedom.
With growing technological “watching” by the government and other entities sometimes we’d like to keep things from the prying eyes and this is where the font comes in. The font comes with various styles that vary in legibility and keep OCR programs at bay. Check out this video that describes all the various styles and how they match up against the OCR.
